Positive Influencing Skills

31st July, 1st August 2012,

The Studio, 7 Cannon Street, Birmingham, B2 5EP
[Directions to venue]

This workshop is for anyone looking for powerful targeted self development or for companies/organisations scoping this essential toolkit out for in-house sessions. We have been running in-house influencing workshops for nearly 15 years for major clients.

The two days offer a highly insightful exploration of your influencing strengths and preferences and provide a practical toolkit of influencing techniques which draw from different energies. You will be able to strengthen and practice influencing approaches which are more of a challenge to you and refine those which represent your preferred style. The aim is to provide you the tools to use your personal power in the most effective way to make changes AND to preserve the relationship.

Being influential and able to vary your style to the circumstances in the conversation is effective in a wide range of situations including performance conversations, delegation conversations, team meetings, coaching conversations and conflict.

In Day 1 delegates will learn and practice the PDA influencing model covering the 3 assertive and 3 responsive influencing behaviours. In Day 2 delegates will put those into practice with exercises combining your preferred styles and ones that you are building on.
